The transition from hadron phase to strange quark phase in dense matter is investigated. Instead of using the conventional bag model in quark sect, we achieve the confinement by a density-dependent quark mass derived from in-medium chiral condensates, with a thermodynamic problem improved. In nuclear slot, we adopt the equation of state from Brueckner-Bethe-Goldstone approach with three-body force. It is found that the mixed phase can occur, for reasonable confinement parameter, near the normal saturation density, and transit to pure quark matter at 4—5 times the saturation, which is quite different from the previous results from other quark models that pure quark phase can not appear at neutron-star densities. 相似文献

The Breit interaction contains singular terms which may lead to an instability in quark-antiquark bound state calculations. We regularize the Breit interaction by multiplying the singular terms in momentum space by the form factor μ^2/(q^2+μ^2) such that the interaction is not singular at the origin and the intermediate-and long-range parts of the interaction remain unchanged. The singular terms in the Breit potential find their stable contributions in the calculations after being multiplied by the form factor with different powers. Such a regularized Breit potential with a linear and a relativistically corrected confining potential are applied to the study of qq^- bound states. The spectra for most familiar mesons are consistently obtained and agree well with the experimental data. 相似文献

The goal of this paper is to present some estimations of so-called 'microscopic Hubble constant' in the nucleus-nucleus collisions at the energies available at FAIR GSI, in the frame of CBM experiment. The analysis, based on the experimental data obtained in the previous nucleus-nucleus collisions at RHIC, indicated values of this constant of about 1023s−1 and ratios between the Hubble constant and 'microscopic Hubble constant' with the same magnitude as the ratio between the intensities of both interactions types involved. The UrQMD v 2.3 simulation code is used to generate events for Au-Au collisions at the energies of 5 GeV/u, 10 GeV/u, 15 GeV/u and 20 GeV/u and the Buda-Lund model is used for evaluation. 相似文献

As is well-known, spontaneous CP-violation in the strong interaction is possible at θ = π, which is commonly referred to as Dashen's phenomenon. This phenomenon has been studied extensively using chiral Lagrangians. Here the two-flavor NJL model at θ = π is discussed. It turns out that the occurrence of spontaneous CP-violation depends on the strength of the 't Hooft determinant interaction, which describes the effect of instanton interactions. The dependence of the phase structure, and in particular of the CP-violating phase, on the quark masses, temperature, baryon and isospin chemical potential is examined in detail. The latter dependence shows a modification of the charged pion condensed phase first discussed by Son and Stephanov. 相似文献

We study the stability properties of magnetized strange quark matter and strangelets under a strong magnetic field in the MIT bag model. The free energy per baryon of strange quark matter feels a great influence from the magnetic field. At the field strength about 1017G, the magnetized strange quark matter becomes more stable. Considering the finite size effect, the magnetic influence on strangelets becomes complicated. For a given magnetic field, there exists a critical baryon number, below which the magnetized strangelets have lower energy than the non-magnetized strangelets. For the field strength of 5× 1017G, the critical baryon number is Ac ~ 100. Generally, the critical baryon number increases with the decreasing external magnetic field. When the field strength is smaller than 1017G, the critical baryon number goes up to Ac~ 105. The stable radius, electric charge, and quark flavor fractions of magnetized strangelets are shown. 相似文献

We perform a global effective-field-theory analysis to assess the combined precision of Higgs couplings,triple gauge-boson couplings, and top-quark couplings, at future circular e~+e~- colliders, with a focus on runs below the tt production threshold. Deviations in the top-quark sector entering as one-loop corrections are consistently taken into account in the Higgs and diboson processes. We find that future lepton colliders running at center-of-mass energies below the tt production threshold can still provide useful information on top-quark couplings, by measuring virtual top-quark effects. With rate and differential measurements, the indirect individual sensitivity achievable is better than at the high-luminosity LHC. However, strong correlations between the extracted top-quark and Higgs couplings are also present and lead to much weaker global constraints on top-quark couplings. This implies that a direct probe of top-quark couplings above the tt production threshold is also helpful for the determination of Higgs and triple-gauge-boson couplings. In addition, we find that below the e~+e~-→tth production threshold, the top-quark Yukawa coupling can be determined by its loop corrections to all Higgs production and decay channels. Degeneracy with the ggh coupling can be resolved, and even a global limit is competitive with the prospects of a linear collider above the threshold. This provides an additional means of determining the top-quark Yukawa coupling indirectly at lepton colliders. 相似文献

ABSTRACTElectron binding energies and Dyson orbitals may be obtained from the poles and residues of the electron propagator. The Dyson quasiparticle equation provides a convenient route to computing this information. Systematic approximations to the latter equation's self-energy, wherein electron correlation and final-state orbital relaxation are described, may be expressed in terms of the elements of the superoperator Hamiltonian matrix. Perturbative methods of electron propagator theory in wide use are based on a reference determinant constructed with canonical, Hartree–Fock orbitals. Generalised matrix elements of the superoperator Hamiltonian that accommodate non-integer occupation numbers associated with general, orthogonal spin orbitals are presented for the first time. Non-Hermitian terms may be systematically eliminated with perturbative corrections to generalised reference density operators. The structure of self-energy approximations that are complete through second, third, fourth or fifth order is presented in terms of superoperator Hamiltonian matrix elements. The present extensions pertain when generalised, zeroth-order density operators expressed in terms of orthonormal spin orbitals are employed. 相似文献

In this study, we research a higher dimensional flat Friedmann-Robertson-Walker(FRW) universe in Barber's second theory when strange quark matter(SQM) and normal matter(NM) are attached to the string cloud and domain walls. We obtain zero string tension density for this model. We obtain dust quark matter solutions. This result agrees with Kiran and Reddy, Krori et al, Sahoo and Mishra and Reddy. In our solutions the quark matter transforms to other particles over time. We also obtain two different solutions for domain walls with quark and normal matters by using a deceleration parameter. Also, the features of the obtained solutions are discussed and some physical and kinematical quantities are generalized and discussed. Our results are consistent with Yilmaz, Adcox et al and Back et al in four and five dimensions. 相似文献
